Multi-club, Standing Start, Single vehicle release 1000 Meter Sprint on Temora's airport runway. A unique motorsport event.
Ever felt like lining your car up on an airport runway and flooring it for 1 kilometre, just to see how fast you can go? Yeah, then this is THE event to do it.
NSWCC inc are again running the Coates Hire Temora 1000 on November 16th this year.
The event is a timed single car standing start sprint of 1000mtrs held on Temora's Airport Runway.
If you want to enter Australia's Fastest Runway sprint visit www.temora1000.com to download your entry form, you will need to hold a CAMS L2S licence (or greater). Plus your car will need to comply with CAMS regulations as specified in the supplementary regulations for the event. (Entries open April 2013)
